Fashion Citizen Spotlight : Revival Accessories

Revival Accessories was established back in 2003 by designer Chaichan Jantarasuwan. He is a Bangkok born designer and is very passionate about handcrafted innovative jewelry. Each of their necklaces are designed and handmade in their studio by a skilled team of workers. Chaichan Jantarasuwan studies a modern European designs vividly and then blends them with the Thai designs, so that each piece of jewelry is absolutely different from the other.

I became a fan of the brand after seeing their pieces on Instagram and the highly creative, vibrant pieces instantly caught my eye. The beautiful thing about Revival Accessories is that they are intricate and meticulously designed up close, in keeping with the vision of their designer but when you see them from a distance all of the intricacies blend together to form a beautiful piece of wearable art. Being a fashion citizen is all about showcasing your unique imprint of style and Revival Accessories has something for every type of woman.

I went to one of my favorite blogger tools, Polyvore and put together some great looks featuring necklaces from Revival Accessories.

Revival Accesories Look #1 by fashioncitizen featuring a pink strapless top

This look is inspired by NYFW and all of the style mavens that descend upon the city to drink in all the greatness that walks across the runways. I started with a strapless peplum top with an interesting fold over detail and paired it with window-pane trousers in a black/white. The shoe choice provides another pop of color and I echoed the color in the selection of the nail polish. A roomy tote and oversized glasses in the trendy circular shape top this look off. The Revival Accessories necklace featured here is the Misti from their Bombay Pearl Collection. It is a black collar, hand embroidered with gold pearls and embellished with large square and oval cut crystals. A ribbon tie fastening allows for a custom, easy-to-use fit.

Revival Accessories Look #2 by fashioncitizen featuring open toe wedge sandals

This look was all about being fun and funky with style. The necklace featured here is the Karren and it's from the Pop collection. You guessed it, pop art is the influence and why not put together a modernized look that would be right at home at Mr. Warhol's Factory. Bright red leather leggings combined with a cropped grey top give an easy base to accompany a beautifully beaded necklace like the Karren. The Karren is bright, colorful and playful. It was created with a black cotton bib, hand embroidered with glass beading, and multicolored sequins. A ribbon tie fastening allows for a custom, easy-to-use fit. Architectural shoe booties and a chunky statement ring keep the wow factor going. I'd suggest a messy bun like the one featured here and black polish much like the Louboutin Noir. A simple envelope clutch and a few sprays of the exciting, intense Tom Ford Orchid and you'd definitely be ready to set the city on fire.

Revival Accessories Look #3 by fashioncitizen featuring a fur cape

With the last look showing the casual side of the artful jewelry from Revival Accessories, I decided to take this look in a highly stylized direction. I started with a sharply tailored dress with white insets and sky high heels. A slingback always brings to mind sophistication and sexiness. A wide brimmed rabbit fur hat and a luxe fox fur cape make this look sumptuous. The Aster necklace featured here has hand-embroidered gold beading surrounding an amber colored crystal center to create this dramatic floral inspired necklace. Since we're going for high style let's bring a crocodile Birkin and black mascara for those beautiful eyes that are sure to peer out from under that hat. I chose NARS polish in Mash to echo the crystal center of the necklace and tie the whole look together.

Revival Accessories Look #4 by fashioncitizen featuring a nude nail color

This look made me think of the classed up version of the jeans and white tee look. The white tee is replaced by an open sleeved blouse, that almost mimics a cape and a sleek leather midi skirt in a cornflower blue. The Lasia necklace featured here is seriously one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I've seen in a while. Sitting atop this silken blouse, it would draw all the right attention. It is a fairytale necklace made from crystal embellished chain, woven with braided cord and completed with a flutter of butterflies. A neon heel and a statement clutch follow suit with the star of this look. Diamond studs add a bit of sparkle and the Linda Farrow gold sunglasses act as the cherry on top of this sartorial sundae. Sheer nude gloss and nude nail polish are added to keep the look polished and complete.

Revival Accesories Look #5 by fashioncitizen featuring STELLA McCARTNEY

This look says fun in the sun and hot times at night. It's sheer and sexy with the Betty necklace bringing that Carnival element to the look without the trip to the Islands. This necklace is silver chain and is embellished with white and green crystals and woven with black leather cord. It features a green and gold feather fringe, layered plumes of feather add subtle texture that sways and moves. Just know that this look is not for the shrinking violet. A high heeled sandal with cut out detailing pairs well with knicker shorts and a sheer tee with faux leather insets. In keeping with the all black theme, a chain detailed clutch is the only other accessory needed. High shine gloss and a warm, sensual fragrance and an eye catching nail color are the last three elements that complete this look.
