Fashion Citizen Spotlight – Tia Warhall, Photographer
What's up readers . . .
I'd like to bring to you today, another great photographer and this young lady goes by the nom de plume of Tia Warhall, a nod to the great visionary Andy Warhol. I was put on to Tia by one of the people I met on Twitter, @amberalert123. Tia had shot Amber and I was complimenting Amber on the great shot she had up as her profile pic. She referred me to Tia's tumblr and the rest, as they say, was history.
I really like the realism of Tia's pic and how vivid and bright her images are. The grittier shots of Tia's that I've seen still have a brightness about them that doesn't depress the viewer, but instead gives you insight to the many facets of the pictures that she takes.
Here's a brief bio on Tia
Tia Hall (also known as Tia Warhall as an ode to the infamous artist, Andy Warhol), born in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. has always been intrigued by the photography. Her love for the art form really took shape in 2008 when she purchased her first digital SLR camera and participated in Washington, D.C.’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival as her first photo shoot. When the photographs were chosen to be published on local news WJLA Photo of the Day, the online photo gallery NBC4 news, and Reuters.com, Tia knew this was her calling.
A self-taught photographer, Tia is most driven by the ability to inspire those around her. What gives her the most enjoyment is the freedom to express her views of the world through photography and showing her perception through honest, organic, vivid, and emotional images.
