Gotta Go To Work – Budget Friendly Shoe Choices for the Career Woman & Man
I realize that on this blog you see a lot of high fashion and expensive items, but after tweeting this morning with the incomparable Bevy Smith, I realized I've got to take this blog back to basics sometimes. My readers need to know how to be fashionable on a budget with the occasional splurge. With that, I was indirectly talking to a co-worker who said that she didn't have many pairs of heels for work. It's difficult to be on your own and manage to gain an enviable shoe-drobe (patent pending, fashioncitizen.com lol).

Here I come to the rescue !! Ladies, be as varied as possible with your work shoes in design and style. I know it's work but no one says you have to wear black pumps everyday. My one suggestion is to keep the heel height under 4 inches. I'd hate for you to twist your ankle running to the fax machine.

I didn't forget the gents ! For the gentleman, we have a little more room to exercise style in the workplace because our shoe designs aren't strappy and all that womens are. That being said, let's not slip into old businessman shoes, even if you are an older businessman. Keeping a good shoedrobe as a man is not a bad thing nor is it expensive. It speaks highly of you when you have on a classic professional outfit and a great shoe.
