Havva Mustafa Spring/Summer 2014 Collection
Since we last featured Havva Mustafa hear on Fashion Citizen, they have been a busy brand. Appearing in Who's Next Paris and London Fashion week are just some of the accomplishments that have been happening with our friends across the pond. I'm glad to bring you their spring/summer collection. Havva's shoes are definitely for that women who wants high style but may not want the high heel. With sensible heel heights and unique designs, you are sure to find something that will work with your warm weather shoedrobe.
The Ember sandal is a mix of tough and sweet for your feet and in an on trend variance of metallics. The slight gladiator feel is amped up with a line of studs and the minimalistic design is sure to see this sandal getting wear from picnics to parties. The Ember is also available in black leather
What is sure to be the star of the Spring/Summer 2014 collection for Havva Mustafa, the Athena tall sandal comes in strong just like it's namesake. You know Athena, the greek goddess of War? These sandals are just calling for the city street warrior to strap herself in and get things done. The buckle and stud details draw you in and those beautiful black straps keep you there. The back zip in gold pretty much wins me over as far as details go. This sandal is one that would go with your chiffon hi-lo skirt or you favorite pair of denim shorts.
The Ebony pump is a great take on the traditional black pump. The construction is leather and suede with studded straps taking you safely to the punk trend that has invaded fashion. A riff on the black pump is something we at Fashion Citizen appreciate and this pump would certainly take you to work and play.
The Ivory pump is sophistication with a bit of fun. The black rounded toe and contrasting counter create a pretty good base and the ankle strap that almost creates a bootie effect kicks things up a notch. If you're going to do lower heels, you want to wear Havva Mustafa. She never skimps on great detailing. This would be awesome for your work shoedrobe or worn as shown with black leggings and an over sized tunic.
The eight sandal is a curvaceous delight for your feet. This sandal almost looks like you dipped your foot in metal ribbons and they all magically fell into place. The Grecian feel of this sandal is made more lovely with the contrasting metallic tones of the straps. I can imagine this sandal with a flowing white dress on the first warm spring day, these would even be right at home at a beach wedding or semi-formal event.
The lower version of the Athena sandal is also a must have. The ankle cuff and smooth lines on the body of the sandal make this a spring/summer staple. You know that one sandal you grab without thinking because you know it's going to always keep your style quota full? This is it. The buckle details just add the cherry on top.
