Paris Hilton’s Daria “Pink Glitter” pump…day, night and beyond !
I've seen quite a few sparkly shoes come across my computer screen and it sparked a thought. I wondered how the fashion citizen woman could make her princess pumps work for more than just formal moments. I put a few looks together that I thought would work with one of the pumps that I've seen, the Paris Hilton Daria pump in pink glitter.
The first look is pretty casual but with the addition of the Daria pump, it can't help but be bumped up a few notches. The shoes are paired with a loose fitting tank and destroyed denim with a cuff. I felt like with the "fancy" of the pumps, you could take the look pretty far and it would still work. The accessories are a simple cuff, intricate dangly earrings and a cork envelope clutch. This look is interesting and fun for a lunch date, movies or drinks with friends.
This second look is more of a semi casual, made so by the addition of the studded denim jacket from Miss Iny. Although the jacket is denim, the cut and embellishments make for a look that says classy but doesn't take herself to seriously. The hi lo printed skirt paired with a simple tank provide for a good base to add the Daria pump to. The addition of the pearl earrings provide a good contrast against the jacket. A BCBG mesh envelope clutch completes the look but you could pair a top handle bag with the look as well.
I left the most obvious look for last, the night on the town look. Dressing up the Daria pump was pretty easy but I wanted to make it a memorable look none the less. The centerpiece is a textured strapless jersey dress from rarelondon.com. An oversized pearl necklace and crystal earrings up the glam factor and a small stack of sparkly wrist candy. A black patent clutch rounds out the look.
I hope I've shown you that your princess pumps can do more than just take you out on the town. I'm not saying wear them every day but inject a little royalty in your every day look once in a while !
