Stephane Rolland Fall 2010 Haute Couture
When a designer is asked to work at the storied house of Balenciaga at the age of 20 and then promoted to Creative Director within a year, you know that they have something that the world needs to see. Stephane Rolland is that designer. He left Balenciaga at age 24 to launch his own collection. In 2007, he launched his first couture collection.
The fall collection of Stephane Rolland plays with volume and texture independently and simultaneously. The designs are expertly taliored as well. The designer heavily relied on black with a few dresses in vibrant blues, soft metallics and one beautiful stand out piece in white. Leather gloves accented many of the looks as well as jeweled leggings.
Red carpet is written all over this collection . . . what do you think ??
